Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by reconciling accounts and
verifying transactions
- Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy and identify
discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Generate financial reports and analysis as required by management or regulatory
authorities
- Provide support during audits by preparing supporting documentation and
responding to auditor inquiries
- Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary
guidelines and expense policies
- Review and process employee expense reports, verifying receipts and supporting
documentation
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including & GST returns
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data and
analysis
- Assist in special financial projects or initiatives as assigned by management
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial information or analysis in a timely and accurate manner
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Additional certifications
such as CPA or CA (Chartered Accountant) would be advantageous
- 5-8 experience in accounting or finance roles, with a solid understanding of
financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Familiarity with financial
reporting standards and regulations
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize
tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information. Compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
