Structural Engineer-Aluminum
Key Responsibilities:

Structural Design & Analysis:
- Perform structural analysis and design of aluminum components, assemblies, and systems
- Optimize aluminum structures for strength, stability, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct load assessments, deflection checks, and failure mode analyses.

Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure all designs adhere to Australian Standards
- Interpret and apply AU standards accurately.

Software Proficiency:
- Utilize Space Gass for finite element analysis (FEA), load combinations, and member design.
- Generate clear and accurate reports, calculations, and documentation.

Project Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to develop and review structural solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and construction documentation.

Quality Control & Reporting:
- Review and validate engineering drawings and reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
✅ Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering - focused in aluminum
✅ Strong knowledge of Australian standards for structural engineering
✅ Proficiency in Space Gass software (nice to have)
✅ Familiarity with construction methods and material properties specific to aluminum.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✅ Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
