Support Analyst - Fintech Trading Platform

We’re seeking a Support Analyst to join a global technology provider specializing in advanced trading solutions for top-tier financial institutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech innovation and real-time electronic trading while supporting mission-critical systems for banks, brokers, and hedge funds worldwide.
Based in Toronto, you’ll be part of an international organization with offices across North America, Europe, and Asia, working alongside experts in trading technology, systems architecture, and client support.
What You’ll Do
Act as a trusted point of contact for internal teams, customers, and partners, ensuring smooth operations on our electronic trading platform.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to trading workflows, exchange connectivity, and data systems in real time.
Work hands-on with SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and monitoring tools to maintain platform performance.
Investigate system alerts, trading anomalies, and technical issues—proactively designing solutions to prevent future problems.
Support internal teams with software bug identification, regression testing, and product enhancements.
Collaborate across global teams and communicate technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of experience in technology or vendor-side roles for financial institutions.
Strong skills in SQL and Unix Shell/Bash scripting.
Familiarity with FIX protocol, Java (Spring/Hibernate), and electronic trading systems is a plus.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, Graylog) and network infrastructure concepts.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, real-time trading environments with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and clear, concise communication skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work across multiple time zones and global teams.
