Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail-oriented Offshore Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is fully remote, making it a great opportunity for someone who loves bookkeeping and compliance work in a focused, behind-the-scenes environment.
About the Role
As an Offshore Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate client records, preparing and lodging BAS/IAS, and supporting our team with bookkeeping tasks across a range of clients. You’ll work closely with our Partners and team members to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Reconcile Xero files and other programs, including invoices, bills, and pay runs
· Prepare & lodge Business and Instalment Activity Statements by due dates
· Set up Xero files for clients
· Respond to client bookkeeping queries via email or phone
· Manage GST & PAYG registrations and cancellations
· Liaise with the ATO as required
· Ensure documents required for tax purposes are saved and maintained in SharePoint
· Support projects and general administration tasks
· Promote a positive and collaborative team culture
What We’re Looking For
· Relevant bookkeeping experience (Xero/MYOB essential)
· Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent experience
· Strong data entry and accuracy skills
· Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
