About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth and market penetration within the industrial automation sector in South Africa. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions to key industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed annual targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Recruit, train, and manage local partners and system integrators to strengthen the channel network.
Oversee the full sales cycle—from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and contract closure.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 5–10 years in sales within industrial automation or process control technologies.
Strong track record in Power Generation and Mining sectors in South Africa.
Established network among end-users, EPCs, and system integrators.
Previous experience with major automation vendors or reputable system integrators.
Solid technical knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA systems and instrumentation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Chemical) or related field.
