The Role

This is a Fullstack Engineer role with end-to-end ownership.

You will lead the re-architecture and rebuild of Spotlite’s platform, spanning:

  • The existing marketplace (Marketplace 1.0)

  • Our next-generation AI-powered IP protection and digital identity platform

This role comes with architectural authority, long-term ownership, and technical leadership in a small, high-trust founding team.

Required

  • 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
    (MLOps or data-only profiles are not a fit for this role)

  • Strong real-world experience with Node.js in production

  • Hands-on experience with backend frameworks (e.g., NestJS, Express)

  • Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs

  • Experience with ORMs and relational database design

  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments

  • Required for Marketplace 1.0: TypeScript + NestJS

  • Frontend development experience with React / Next.js

  • Ability to build UI using a design system

  • Experience working on large-scale, production systems

  • Proven ownership of products over time (not short-term POCs)

  • Ability to work effectively in English with non-Korean speakers
