Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This role requires strong leadership in financial management, proficiency with various accounting software, and excellent analytical skills to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Duties
Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to inform strategic decision-making.
Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, or potential issues requiring attention.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to streamline financial operations.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
Lead budgeting processes by developing forecasts and monitoring financial performance against budgets.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering continuous improvement in financial procedures.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
CPA required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
