Compensation
$90,000 – $130,000 + Bonus + Profit Sharing
The Opportunity
We are working with a custom machinery manufacturer that builds one-of-a-kind automated systems for industrial clients across North America.
This is a high-ownership controls role.
You will be responsible for the full controls architecture on each machine — from specification and programming through system integration and on-site commissioning.
Every system is different. Every build is hands-on.
What You’ll Be Doing
Program PLCs (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley – CompactLogix)
Develop and configure HMIs
Design control schematics using AutoCAD
Specify hardware (PLCs, VFDs, servos, sensors, safety systems)
Integrate systems with other machinery and production lines
Support testing, commissioning, and customer startup (~15% travel)
Collaborate closely with mechanical engineering team
What We’re Looking For
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Hands-on PLC programming experience (Rockwell preferred)
Experience with industrial automation / machinery
Strong understanding of control systems and system integration
Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
