Junior Accounting Clerk (Vancouver)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trust & Billing Administrator. This is a critical role within a busy professional services environment, responsible for processing all trust transactions and billing requests with accuracy and efficiency.
This is a fully in-office position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
What You'll Be Doing
Process daily trust transactions including fund receipts, cheque preparation, and account transfers
Monitor firm bank accounts and perform regular trust and general account reconciliations
Wire funds and manage interest-bearing accounts and term deposits
Handle all aspects of client billing, including regular departmental billing, bi-monthly institutional invoicing, e-billing backup, and write-offs
Manage and reconcile petty cash
Ensure all financial activities meet applicable regulatory requirements
Support the front desk with reception coverage when needed
Take on additional responsibilities as your role grows
What We're Looking For
At least two years of accounting or finance experience
Strong communicator who works well with colleagues and clients alike
Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail and efficient data entry skills
Comfortable managing competing priorities and working independently
Eager to learn and take on new challenges over time
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000 – $57,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
