About the Company
Our client is a prestigious, rapidly expanding retail group specialising in high-end jewellery and fashion accessories. As they continue to grow their brand presence internationally, they are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Retail Manager to oversee and elevate their retail store operations in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing retail talent, and ensuring excellent operational and visual standards across all specialty stores in the region.
Sales & Strategy: Strategically allocate and breakdown sales targets for each specialty store in Malaysia, driving the team to consistently meet and exceed regional sales goals.
People Management: Recruit, manage, and optimize staffing schedules across stores. Deliver training to Store Managers on effective sales techniques and supervisory skills.
Operational Excellence: Implement standardized management protocols. Ensure meticulous store presentation, visual merchandising, and brand image alignment.
Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate closely with upper management to design and execute localized store promotional and marketing initiatives.
Financial & Inventory Control: Oversee the security, inventory management, and financial compliance of all retail outlets. Assist with accounts receivable collections and asset protection.
Reporting & Compliance: Keep senior leadership updated on market trends, sales deviations, and operational progress. Ensure all staff adhere strictly to company policies and management directives.
Requirements
Experience: At least 5+ years of multi-store sales management experience in jewellery, fashion/apparel, or cosmetics chain brands.
Skills: Strong business acumen, sharp market awareness, and proven capability in resource integration and business development.
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse retail teams.
Languages: Proficient in both English and Chinese (fluent spoken Chinese is required to liaise with the headquarters, along with basic Chinese writing skills).
