Data & Analytics Lead
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Lead to drive the company’s data strategy, governance, operations, analytics, and machine learning capabilities.
This role will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights, improve business decision-making, and build scalable data solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s data vision while overseeing the delivery of reliable data products, analytics platforms, and ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Governance
Define and drive the company’s data vision, strategy, governance framework, and policies.
Ensure data products, reports, dashboards, models, and analytics are accurate, reliable, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Promote data-driven decision-making across business functions and teams.
Data Operations & Delivery
Oversee data pipelines and information systems to ensure data is available, timely, accurate, and scalable.
Anticipate evolving business needs and identify opportunities for new data products and solutions.
Manage the delivery of data and analytics projects from initial concept through development and production.
Ensure high-quality support for ad-hoc data and business intelligence requests.
Analytics & Business Insights
Identify analytics opportunities that can support business and product growth.
Develop the organisation’s analytics capabilities and use data science to generate deeper insights into customers, products, and business performance.
Partner with stakeholders to translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
Machine Learning & MLOps
Oversee the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and inference.
Establish automated ML pipelines and CI/CD processes to support scalable model deployment.
Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks to identify model performance issues, data drift, and production degradation.
Support cloud-based ML infrastructure across platforms such as GCP or AWS.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead and develop the data team, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with senior leadership and technical/non-technical stakeholders to align data initiatives with business priorities.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
3–5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, data strategy, or a related leadership role.
Proven experience managing end-to-end data projects, from ideation and development through to production.
Strong experience managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong understanding of BI, data analytics, AI/ML, reporting, visualisation, data architecture, infrastructure, and governance.
Hands-on understanding of MLOps, including tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or DVC, and ML CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with GCP and/or AWS and cloud infrastructure for production ML environments.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing and ambiguous environment.
Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese, both written and verbal.
Adaptable, curious, open-minded, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment.
Nice to Have
Master’s degree or PhD in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience within the gaming, mobile, music, entertainment, or technology industry.
Strong knowledge of modern data stacks and cloud-based data platforms.
Experience designing and leading organisation-wide data strategy initiatives.
Passion for games, music, or digital entertainment is a strong advantage.
