Growth Operator
Job Description 1: Growth Operator
Role Overview
The Growth Operator sits at the intersection of growth, marketing, sales, and analytics — a hands-on operator role, not a traditional marketing coordinator or campaign manager. This person is responsible for helping build a predictable growth engine: acquiring prospects through paid and organic channels, managing them through the CRM and funnel, supporting sales conversion, analyzing performance, and identifying opportunities to improve revenue.
The ideal candidate can cover the full growth stack — not an expert in every discipline, but with enough practical knowledge across major areas to operate independently and coordinate with specialists.
Core Responsibilities
CRM & Pipeline Management
Own and maintain CRM data across prospects, leads, opportunities and customers
Track leads from acquisition through conversion; build follow-up sequences
Identify stalled opportunities; work closely with Sales on conversion
Paid Acquisition & Creative
Plan, launch and optimize paid campaigns with the Media Buyer
Coordinate creative assets with UGC/content creators; write briefs
Review performance, recommend tests, repurpose winning content
Funnel Ownership
Own the full funnel: Ads → Landing Pages → VSLs → Webinars → Booked Calls → Conversion
Landing-page and CTA testing, CRO, tracking implementation
Identify where and why prospects are dropping off
Sales Support & Closing
Support hiring of closers; develop scripts and sales materials
Join sales calls when required; review lost opportunities
Feed insights back into marketing, creating a strong marketing–sales loop
Growth Experiments
Continuously test new acquisition/conversion opportunities: paid angles, UGC, VSLs, webinars, lead magnets, outbound, retargeting, referrals
Analytics & Reporting
Track leads, CPL, CAC, show rate, demo-to-close and funnel conversion
Provide weekly reporting: "What happened → why → what changes next?"
Lifecycle & Revenue Growth
Support nurturing, onboarding, activation, retention, upsells, referrals, and reactivation
Candidate Requirements
Must-Have
2–4 years hands-on experience in growth, performance marketing, revenue ops or digital marketing
Experience with CRM and sales pipelines
Experience building or optimizing marketing funnels
Exposure to paid acquisition and campaign analysis
Experience working with Sales teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Good understanding of conversion optimization
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable working independently in an early-stage environment
Full working-hours overlap with the client's time zone required
Strongly Preferred
SaaS/technology experience
Experience with landing pages, VSLs or webinars
Experience with Meta Ads and/or Google Ads
Experience with UGC/creative teams
Experience with marketing automation
Revenue Operations experience
Experience tracking CAC, CPL, CPA, ROAS
Experience improving lead-to-customer conversion
Experience managing multiple channels or business units
Working Style
Scrappy, hands-on, commercially minded, analytical, curious, fast-moving, experiment-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in execution, focused on revenue over vanity metrics.
